My Dad's Recipe
Ingredients
4-5 cups of sugar (Splenda can be substituted, I would use 3-4 cups)
1 family size Luzianne tea bag, or 4 regular size Luzianne tea bags
Water
Preparation
Place the tea bag in a small 4-cup stewer. Fill with water. Bring to a rolling boil.
Place the sugar in a pitcher.
After the tea comes to a boil, strain the tea into the pitcher with the sugar. Make sure to squeeze all possible tea out of the bag.
Fill the pitcher the rest of the way up with water.
Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Serve with ice (and lemon if preferred).
